香港中學文憑考試（DSE）自2012年首屆以來，共誕生了126名狀元（考獲至少6科5**或以上的考生），其中2025年新增16名狀元，創下歷年新高。Since the first Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) examination in 2012, 126 candidates have earned the title of top scorer — that is, at least six subjects graded 5** or above. Sixteen of them came from 2025 alone, the highest number in any single year.

02 狀元學校之「最」02 The School with the Most Top Scorers
聖保羅男女中學在2025年誕生了3名超級狀元，為全港單屆最多。值得一提的是，該校自2012年首屆DSE以來持續領先，是香港公認的「狀元搖籃」。St. Paul's Co-educational College produced three super top scorers in 2025, more than any other school in a single year. The school has led the field ever since the first DSE in 2012 and is widely regarded in Hong Kong as a cradle of top scorers.
聖保羅男女中學位於中環半山，是香港一所歷史悠久、聲譽卓著的頂尖中學，為香港傳統名校，並是聖保羅男女中學附屬小學的一條龍中學。該校秉承基督教教育理念，注重全人發展，學生在DSE以及IB考試中，都有卓越成績。知名校友涵蓋政商、學術、文藝界。St. Paul's Co-educational College sits on the Mid-Levels above Central and is one of Hong Kong's most established and highly regarded secondary schools, a traditional elite school and the through-train secondary school for St. Paul's Co-educational College Primary School. It follows a Christian educational philosophy with an emphasis on whole-person development, and its students perform outstandingly in both the DSE and the IB. Its alumni include prominent figures in politics and business, in academia and in the arts.
03 專業選擇之「最」03 The Most Popular Field of Study
狀元首選專業最多還是醫學，他們的專業選擇反映了香港社會的人才流向趨勢。Medicine remains the first choice for most top scorers, and what they choose to study reflects where talent is flowing in Hong Kong society.

2. 皇仁書院的超級狀元濮愷俊選擇中大或港大醫學院。2. 濮愷俊, a super top scorer from Queen's College, is choosing between the medical faculties of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong.
3. 英皇書院的超級狀元容卓言也傾向醫學。3. 容卓言, a super top scorer from King's College, is also leaning towards medicine.
4. 民生書院的狀元李政選擇城市大學的獸醫學士課程，因童年寵物離世而立志救治動物。4. 李政, a top scorer from Munsang College, has chosen the veterinary medicine degree at City University of Hong Kong; the death of a childhood pet set him on the path of treating animals.
獸醫專業近年因寵物經濟興起而受關注，但競爭仍低於人類醫學。醫學依舊火熱反映出其社會地位與穩定前景。Veterinary medicine has attracted attention in recent years as the pet economy has grown, though competition for places is still less fierce than for human medicine. The enduring popularity of medicine reflects the standing of the profession and the stability of its prospects.
05 內地考場之「最」05 More Exam Centres on the Mainland
2025年DSE自修生人數突破1萬，其中不少是內地港籍學生。2025年內地新增廣州南沙民心港人子弟學校和東莞暨大港澳子弟學校作為內地DSE考點。至此，內地考場增至3間，考生亦較去年大增一倍。未來可能進一步增加，其對本地考生的影響值得關注。Private candidates passed the 10,000 mark in 2025, and a good number of them are Hong Kong students living on the mainland. Two new mainland exam centres were added this year: Guangzhou Nansha Minxin Hong Kong Students School and Dongguan Jinan University Hong Kong and Macao Children's School. That brings the number of mainland centres to three, with roughly twice as many candidates as last year. More centres may follow, and the effect on candidates in Hong Kong is worth watching.
06 考生年齡之「最」06 The Oldest and Youngest Candidates
今年共有兩名年長考生，分別為71歲及66歲，一人為日校考生，另一人屬自修生；最年輕的考生為10歲。Two older candidates sat the exam this year, aged 71 and 66 — one a day-school student, the other a private candidate. The youngest candidate was 10 years old.
